This is blog about my real life. The silliness, the heartache, the seriousness of it all, the pinterest fails, and possibly some pinterest successes. I am a mom of two VERY wild boys ages 8 and 6 and one calm (fingers crossed) little girl on the way.

33.5 weeks
Today I had a midwife appointment. They are all done at my house because she lives super close to me.
Its so nice having someone to ask questions to and not feel rushed.
Ava is doing great!
I am measuring right at 33.5 weeks
I weigh 174 (yikes!)
She loves to stay in my ribs on the right side. (I didn't even know that the baby could go that far into the ribs!! That's how far she is in them ha)
We have decided the middle name Claire ❤❤ after my Granny. My dad's mom.
Her fist name is super close to my Moms mom and so I feel like she is named after each great grandma.
I love how all my kids names have meanings and are named after grandparents.
I am getting nervous for the pain and length of the labor. But I know my body and the baby both know how to deliver.
My midwife and her assistant will be such a great support. Eric will be too, As long as he isn't too occupied with my pain 😉.

Cub Scouts
We then built a fire and played some scout games and did scout cheers. And of course roasted marshmallows.
They are loving being in Cub Scouts! We appreciate all of you who helped with the fundraiser or donated so the boys could be involved in this!!!!!

According to my boys (Will be updated often)
According to my boys:
* I have an egg in my belly that is going to hatch.
* Ethan wants to know what happens when he gets too big for the tub and we can't afford a bigger tub. (Because he can't fit in it laying down)
* the line on my tummy from.being pregnant - Ava drew that while she's been in my belly.

Today I was that parent
Today I let my kids run wild at Wal-Mart. I was tired and too exhausted to tell them to stop and stay by me. Which is what I normally do.
I am not sure if it's the long days of summer or my pregnancy hormones. Or both. But I am was tired of telling them to stop. Tired of wasting my breath.
I dared, almost begged, for anyone in that store to say something to me. Oh the poor soul that would have. Thank God no one did because it would have been like the devil himself was yelling at them. And I would have never forgiven myself either.
So today I was that mom. And I don't feel one bit bad about it.

When I was your age...
I'm not even that old and I swear all I ever say to my kids anymore is "When I was your age..." Maybe it's because it's summer and all they do is bug me. But, How did being 29 turn into feeling like I'm an old grandma?? And talking about "When I was your age, I walked up hill to school both ways!"
Now my kids complain that its "too hot" outside, Seriously?! You're a kid. You will cool off laying under a tree, right? Or playing in water!
"Its boring outside" this one pisses me off!! What have I done so wrong as a parent that my kid can't go outside and play in the dirt with trucks or in the water for hours?! When I was your age I played in the DIRT, I played LAVA outside, I ran through sprinklers, I drank from the hose, I looked for snakes I had an imagination outside of MineCraft.
| They do have imagination. They just rarely use it. They are making trails for the Ants to follow to food. The Ants did come... because they put food all over my driveway. |
When I was your age I didn't dare talk back to my parents. I knew I would get the belt, or go to bed early. My kids can't get the belt. And they don't comprehend the early to bed yet.
I think being a parent back When I was your age, had it easier... only because we were smarter than. I just know it.
